Nickel plating can sometimes cause an allergic reaction. If you have ever had this, you might want to opt for the brass finish. The unplated brass finish has no coating which means that in time the capo will darken to a natural, aged finish. The capo can be polished up using a cloth and just about any kind of metal polish, and it will shine like gold.
